Brethren, Mislead I Not explores betrayal, deception, and the moral conflict between brotherhood and the desire to destroy another. Two men journey together at sea, yet one secretly plots the other’s demise, transforming their shared voyage into a symbol of concealed intention and broken trust. Above them, God watches from the heavens, representing divine judgement and the truth that cannot remain hidden. Psyche embodies the human soul, consciousness, inner struggle and the will to commit a action, while Lucifer represents temptation, pride, and the corruption of moral judgement. Together, these figures reflect the eternal battle between good and evil, reminding us that even when deception is concealed from humanity, it remains visible to the divine.
