“Burlington Arcade in Bloom” Installation
Concept and Design
Commissioned each spring since 2023, “Burlington Arcade in Bloom” is curated by local artist Emily Davis. Drawing on Pointillism and Pop Art, the installation features thousands of hand-drawn dots that coalesce into cascading fields of floral motifs, suspended from the arcade’s steel arches and lining the shopfronts.
Davis explains:
“We wanted to create something that not only enhances the shopping experience but also resonates on an emotional level, reminding us of the beauty and renewal that spring brings.”Brummell
